Fishing Summary & Analysis
Fishing excitement is at an all-time high in Quepos! In her latest report, Marbelli Lopez shared some incredible numbers that prove why this is a premier destination for anglers.
The offshore action has been dominated by a massive 275 sailfish releases, complemented by 144 tunas and even a few blue marlins.
If you prefer inshore fishing, the waters are just as active, with 218 jacks and 161 rooster fish releases leading the count, alongside snappers and groupers.
The “non-stop” tournament season continues with the upcoming Sailfish Slam.
If you want to be part of the action, mark your calendars: registration opens on March 6, followed by the official fishing day on March 7.
This event is made possible by the support of local fishing charters and generous sponsors like Bluefin USA, Alutecnos, and Flor de Caña.
Whether you’re a seasoned pro or a passionate amateur, it’s the perfect time to get out on the water!
