Fishing Summary & Analysis
It’s been a fantastic week at Marina Pez Vela, with Jerry reporting some incredible action on the water!. Inshore anglers stayed busy with catches of jacks, snapper, and grouper, while offshore fishing is truly booming with a massive 210 mahi-mahi and 135 sailfish releases. If you are looking for some friendly competition, the Tuna Thunder tournament is coming up on June 27th, offering a family-friendly atmosphere and low entry fees.
But the excitement isn’t limited to the fishing boats; the marina is also focusing on the future through the “Agua Inspiration” event. This community initiative welcomed approximately 100 local students to explore the maritime world. The children visited different stations to learn about luxury yachts, sport fishing equipment, and the vital work performed by the Coast Guard. This inspiring program aims to give back to the community and encourage the next generation to dive into Costa Rica’s vibrant fishing industry. Whether you are here for the big catches or the community spirit, there is always something special happening at the docks!.
