The first annual 2026 Bisby’s Costa Rica Offshore Tournament made a huge splash at Marina Pez Vela, marking a thrilling start to what is sure to be a legendary tradition. Hosted by Blake Bisby, the event saw an incredible 79 boats hit the water, bringing in a staggering total catch count of 1,820 fish. While blue marlin, black marlin, tuna, and dorado were all in the mix, the Pacific sailfish truly dominated the scene with a massive 1,722 catches.
The competition was fierce as teams vied for a share of the $2.15 million prize pool. Team Pura Vida ultimatey swept the top spot, finishing with an impressive 6,800 points. They were followed by Fish Tank Galott in second place and Deal Sled in third. It was an unforgettable inaugural event filled with high energy and record-breaking numbers, leaving both participants and sponsors celebrating a successful weekend on the Costa Rican waters.
